Ceramic News Based on Customs Data: In October 2023, China's total import and export of ceramic tiles amounted to $348 million, a YoY decrease of 28.78%. The export value was $340 million, down 29.01%.

From January to October 2023, the total import and export of ceramic tiles reached $3.787 billion, an increase of 4.94%. The export of tiles was $3.686 billion, up 5.84%.

1. Ceramic Tile Data Analysis: In October, China's ceramic tile exports amounted to $340 million, down 29.01% YoY. In RMB, the export was ¥2.443 billion, a decrease of 26.46%. The export quantity was 51.716 million square meters, up 12.84%. The average export price was $0.381 per kg or $6.58 per square meter. In RMB, the average export price was ¥2.73 per kg or ¥47.23 per square meter. The majority of exports were under HS codes 69072190 (61.09%) and 69072290 (30.92%).

2. Statistics for the First 10 Months of Ceramic Tile Data: From January to October, China's total ceramic tile exports were $36.86 billion, up 5.84%. In RMB, it was ¥258.29 billion, an increase of 12.01%. The export quantity was 4.98 billion square meters, up 10.11%. The average export price was $0.426 per kg or $7.41 per square meter. In RMB, it was ¥2.99 per kg or ¥51.91 per square meter.

2. Export Data for the First 10 Months

From January to October, the top 10 countries or regions were the Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Cambodia, and Myanmar, making up 73.58% of total exports.

Top 10 Provinces (Cities) for Ceramic Tile Exports

1. Export Data in October 

In October, six out of the top ten provinces (cities) experienced growth, especially Sichuan, Hubei, and Heilongjiang. Guangdong Province accounted for 41.93% of total exports, a YoY decrease of 34.98%.

2. Export Data for the First 10 Months

From January to October, six out of the top ten provinces (cities) experienced growth. Guangdong Province accounted for 42.12% of total exports, with a YoY increase of 1.02%.
