October 18th to 21st, the 41st  China International Ceramic & Bathroom Fair (hereinafter referred to as“CeramBath”) held in Chancheng District, Foshan City. This year's event “bloom” as the theme, open a comprehensive upgrade, showing the ceramic industry's new technologies, new products, new models, attracting domestic and foreign businessmen scrambling to participate in procurement.

Since its inception in 2002, CeramBath has continued to deepen the accumulation, innovationchange and gradually developed into one of the world's four major exhibitions in the ceramic industry. As an important platform for China's ceramics industry, inherited the millennium ceramics culture in Foshan. It also becomes a shining business card of  Foshan.


Foshan has always been known for its strong gathering power. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it had a well-developed industry and commerce. It ranks among the "Four Famous Towns" and the "Four Greatest Gathering Places in the World."


Today, as the CeramBath strides towards the global stage, how can it remain evergreen and create a new era of urban commerce and prosperity?


Break Through Against the Trend and Strive for Excellence in the New Direction


Golden October, China's ceramic industry will meet in Foshan as promised. At the moment, it has a special significance.


This year, China's ceramic industry is facing a complex and changing market environment, external real estate downturn, weak demand, foreign trade barriers, internal corporate competition white-hot, market reshuffle. “The ceramic industry is experiencing a winter that has never been experienced in decades, and the second half of the year is even more chilly.” Talking about the background of the current CeramBath, Foshan China Ceramics City Group Co-Chairman and President Zhou Jun unapologetic.

 

However, Zhou Jun is still hopeful. "The vast majority of those in the ceramics industry have not 'given up and done nothing,' instead, they have actively taken initiatives, seeking breakthroughs through innovations in products, channels, models and even organizational structures, in order to seize opportunities."


The hosting of CeramBath creates a new stage for ceramic enterprises to break through against the trend and injects a strong dose of confidence into the industry.


“Bloom” is the theme of this year's CeramBath. The purpose is to advocate the ceramic industry practitioners, with a positive mindset to face the difficulties, to establish confidence, looking for a way out. “Through the platform of the CeramBath to bloom enterprise brand, bloom new products, new technology, new mode, so as to win the market opportunities, to obtain new growth points.” Zhou Jun said.

Under this concept, the current CeramBath has been completely renewed and upgraded.


Three theme venues comprehensively demonstrate the whole industry chain solutions from ceramic tile to sanitary ware to seam and auxiliary materials, showing CeramBath as the industry benchmark all-round ability. Not only to create an immersive experience for visitors, but also highlights the Foshan ceramics professional strength, depth of service and agglomeration effect.

The exhibits are also refreshing, more than 30,000 new products focused on the debut. High-value art rock crystal square, access to the national patent  “super stain-resistant diamond glaze” soft-gloss tile, a comprehensive replacement for the Spanish wall tile texture tile, flash ink + gradient layout design + AI digital color mixing technology of the overall bathroom space.... Innovative, personalized and characteristic products are dazzling.


“We come to CeramBath every year, and every year there are new gains.” Xie Yingfeng, general manager of brand marketing of Xinghui Tile, said that on the platform of CeramBath, not only can we communicate with our peers, but also link upstream and downstream resources to discuss the new trends, from which we can absorb the nutrients needed for the development of enterprises.

Pursuing innovation and change, participating enterprises are not only "competing fiercely" in products, but also in marketing.


Black Myth: Wukong cosplay enthusiasts posed for photos with audiences, while girls dressed in Hanfu and adorned with hairpins held up signs to greet visitors. Popular bands performed live on site, and companies that had just launched new products organized a tile-rubbing contest attracting tens of thousands of participants.... All sorts of creative tactics were employed solely to grab attention and draw in crowds.

Expanding the incremental market, this CeramBath also held the 5th China Green Consumption Festival (Foshan Stop), China Hotel Industry Decoration Design Procurement Forum, Homestay Cultural Tourism Industry High-quality Development Summit (Foshan), to promote cross-border cooperation between ceramic enterprises,hotels, B&B and other industries.


The China Ceramic Industry Association Executive Vice President Wu Yue Shen think that CeramBath not only for the industry chain upstream and downstream enterprises to provide a display of new products, blossom new power of the world stage, but also injected a strong impetus and confidence for ceramic industry. It has an important value and significance in the high-quality development of the ceramic industry .


Twenty Years of Deep Cultivation, Trading Globally


CeramBath industry status is the result of 22 years of deep plowing in the ceramic industry.


In October 2002, Foshan, relying on a strong industrial base, in Shiwan and Nanzhuang held the first Foshan CeramBath at the same time, attracting more than 500 Chinese and foreign enterprises exhibitors, 800,000 people, the whole city for the boiling. It leapt to become China's first ceramic exhibition.


Since then, riding on the wave of the Canton Fair, the CeramBath has been held twice a year, in spring and autumn, always adhering to the spirit of innovation and perseverance. The exhibition area has expanded from the initial 60,000 square meters to over 500,000 square meters. The number of participating enterprises has grown from more than 500 to over 800 per edition, with exhibitors expanding from Guangdong to 17 domestic provinces including Shandong, Fujian, Jiangxi and Zhejiang.

Up to this day, CeramBath has grown into Asia's most exhibited brands, the largest scale, the strongest aggregation effect of professional ceramics and sanitary ware exhibition. In August this year, by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce as “Top 100 Exhibition Projects in Guangdong Province”, become an important business card of Foshan manufactured. It is known as one of the "World's Four Major Ceramic Exhibitions" alongside the International Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Fair in Bologna, Italy; the Cevisama International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings in Valencia, Spain and the Coverings Expo in the United States.


The influence of CeramBath also lies in its strong foreign trade Capability.


In recent years, CeramBath anchored to create “the world of ceramics in China home”, become an important window for domestic and foreign businessmen to enter the Chinese ceramics market, attracting exhibitors from more than 10 countries such as Italy, Spain and other exhibitors, for more than 1.2 million professional buyers around the world to provide services.

This year's exhibition also highlights global procurement, attracting Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand and many other overseas buyers group to “buy”.


In order to catch this wave of “international traffic”, the organizers carefully planned the Foshan Building Materials and Sanitary Ware RCEP & Central Asia Procurement Matchmaking Conference, China - Russia Business Matchmaking Conference, Networking Night and other activities. By releasing procurement needs on-site, organizing dedicated matching sessions, and facilitating precise supply-demand pairing, these events aim to assist local enterprises in securing orders and expanding their markets.

Starting from Foshan and trading globally, during the exhibition, China Ceramics City Market Purchase Trading Cluster was officially unveiled, opening up a new channel for foreign trade.


Through this new trade mode, buyers can be purchased from Foshan, a large variety of small quantities, LCL export commodities, not only to simplify customs clearance procedures, but also to reduce trade costs, to make the local ceramic enterprises more convenient and efficient customs clearance of foreign trade.


Foshan City Council for the Promotion of International Trade President Li De said that the future will continue to build a good China Ceramic City as the representative of the Foshan International Post, set up an international exchange platform to promote global resources in Foshan to carry out contact and cooperation and supply and demand docking.


Historic Town for Millennia, Sharing Prosperity with the City


From the manufacturing industry all the way to development and growth, 22 years of CeramBath development, has been with the city of Foshan frequency resonance, coexistence and co-prosperity.


Foshan is a major pottery town in China, where the kiln fire has been alive for thousands of years. After the reform and opening up, Foshan people who dared to be the world's first to start the course of modern industrialization in the Pearl River Delta, and quickly developed into the country's largest ceramic production base.
