Export Statistical Analysis

According to the analysis of customs statistics, in October 2025, the total export value of ceramic tiles in China was 216 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 14.17%. Calculated in RMB, in October 2025, the export value of ceramic tiles in China was 1.541 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.81%.

According to the statistical analysis in the above table, in October 2025, the product with the largest export volume was ceramic tiles with HS code 69072190, accounting for 60.01% of the total export volume; followed by those with HS code 69072290, accounting for 29.55%; and those with HS code 69072390, accounting for 7.13% of the total export volume.

From January to October this year, the total export value of ceramic tiles in China reached $2.451 billion , a decrease of 7.11% compared to the same period last year.

According to the analysis of customs statistics by Ceramic Information, in October 2025, the top 10 countries or regions for the export of ceramic tiles from China were Vietnam, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Israel, Japan, Cambodia and Colombia.

In October 2025, the top 20 countries and regions exporting the most ceramic tiles accounted for 73.66% of the total export volume. It is worth noting that among the top 20 countries and regions with the highest export volumes, the Dominican Republic had the most significant growth rate, with a year-on-year increase of 89.71%. In contrast, countries such as South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Israel, Cambodia, Hong Kong of China, North Korea, Singapore, Peru, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, and Chile all experienced declines compared to the same period last year.

Import Statistical Analysis

According to the relevant customs data statistics, in October 2025, the total import value of ceramic tiles in China was 6,498,300 US dollars, increasing by 13.63% year-on-year; calculated in RMB, the import value of ceramic tiles was 46,596,400 yuan, increasing by 15.06% year-on-year. (Note: The growth rates calculated in US dollars and RMB are different.)

In October 2025, the domestic import volume of ceramic tiles was 216,000 square meters, increasing by 51.88% compared to the previous year; the average price was 1.83 US dollars per kilogram and 30.08 US dollars per square meter; calculated in RMB, the average price was 13.13 yuan per kilogram and 215.7 yuan per square meter.

Among them, the imported large-format/stone slab ceramic tiles, which fall under HS code 69072190, had an import volume of 196,100 square meters, an import value of 5,857,700 US dollars, and an average price of 1.84 US dollars per kilogram and 29.86 US dollars per square meter.

In October 2025, the top three countries in terms of ceramic tile imports in our country were Italy, Spain, and Turkey. Among them, the import of ceramic tiles from Italy increased by 58.53%, that from Turkey increased by 30.56%, and that from Spain decreased by 40.31% compared to the previous year.
