· Revenue of Sanitary Ware from January to May was ￥24.361 Billion

According to the National Bureau of Statistics and China Building Materials Association, from January to May in 2020, the main business income of sanitary ware ceramics industry above designated size reached ￥24.361 billion, down 16.9% from the same period last year. The total profit of the sanitary ware industry above the scale was 6.37%, 1.78% points lower than the same period last year. The total output of sanitary ware by May 2020 was 70.1801 million pieces, 18.51% lower than that of the same month last year.

Not even the change of dates to November proved sufficient to allow for the organization of Cersaie that would live up to the expectations of a show whose greatest strength lies in its international scale. Despite their best efforts in recent weeks, the organizers have just announced the cancellation of the 2020 show and the dates of next year’s event, which will be held in Bologna from 27 September to 1 October.
